*I recommend the set, there is a two-step cleansing process so it's more convenient if you have back-to-back clients.
If you are going with just a single file I would recommend the medium but start with a very light touch.
This tool is considered semi-critical but is legal in all 50 states.
It requires no training. Some people prefer the traditional crosshatch, others circles... It will all give you excellent results.
It can be used with any product but works best with products that do not have particles (ball, pearls, beads, coconut ect). It will impede the efficacy of the file
