Lomi Lomi massage is a restorative massage practice that began in ancient Hawaii. The word “lomi” means to knead or rub in a gentle manner. This very relaxing technique focuses on seamless strokes that glide from one part of the body to another, These rhythmic and repetitive movements allow the client to fully relax by calming the central nervous system and working gently, yet deeply, into the muscles with continuous, flowing strokes. Lomilomi is not just a physical experience; it also facilitates healing on the mental, emotional and spiritual levels as well. My stone massage is given in fluid, rhythmic motion. It should feel like gentle waves moving over the body. The goal is to rejuvenate mind, body and spirit.
